Regedit is Disabled by Administrator

Error : Regedit is Disabled by Administrator

1) Click Start --> Run -->Type gpedit.msc in the run field

2) Group Policy settings windows should open

3) Under the "User Configuration", expand the fields Administrative Templates --> System

4) At the Right Side Pane Select and either Not Configured or Disable the "Prevent Access to Registry Editing Tools"

5) Just type following in RUN dialog box and press :

REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableRegistryTools /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

6) Restart the System.
